Amino Acids

L-Leucine

Description

It is one of the 20 amino acids that make up protein and one of the eight essential amino acids required by the human body. It is a branched-chain amino acid that works with isoleucine and valine to promote normal growth, repair tissues, regulate blood sugar, and provide the required energy. Leucine is the most effective branched-chain amino acid that can be broken down and converted into glucose more quickly, which can prevent muscle tissue damage; it also promotes the healing of bones, skin, and damaged muscle tissue.
